Snow Anyone?

Just thought I would be polite enough to ask if anyone wanted some snow. On Saturday Daddy, Drew, and I went out and built a snowman. This time, much to his dismay, Drew couldn't kick it down. We didn't have a carrot for his nose so we just had to settle for a celery stick. Drew loves looking out every morning now to see if it's still outside. We all have a lot of fun spending time as a family together.

Alyssa is crawling now. After about a week now she finally realizes she can go anywhere that mommy is. Drew seems pretty happy about it because they can be a little more interactive with each other. Before it was him always trying to drag her or roll her where he wanted her to go or he just wouldn't bother with her. He is also learning more about sharing and that everything is not his. It is neat to walk in on them and see him trying to play with her and including her into his Thomas the train or Bob the Builder imagination stories. Alyssa thinks he is the coolest dude on the planet and just giggles and laughs at him.

I have started reading the book of I Samuel the last few days and have been deeply moved to see the heart of Hannah. Hannah not only prayed and wept for a son, but also vowed to the Lord that if he gave her one she would give him right back. The Lord did bless her and as he was old enough she kept her vow and gave him back to the Lord. The Bible then says that she prayed and rejoiced to the Lord. The Lord then blessed her again with three sons and two daughters. The Lord has given me two beautiful children and how my heart desires to raise them for the Lord. To teach them the love of God and how good our God is. That God hates sin and desires us to be pure and to be a clean vessel. This has burdened me the last couple of days and I have been in much prayer for my children.
