I decided the other day to do something girly with Alyssa and paint her toes. Since I can't do her hair now it was the only thing I could think of at this point besides going to buy her a pretty dress, and painting the toes was less expensive than going shopping.(always looking to save money) After Daddy gave her a bath she laid very still intrigued at what I was doing. Towards the end she became a little impatient but she hung on until I finished. The fingers are going to have to wait until she quicks putting them in her mouth. Daddy thought she looked so pretty and loved them. As you can see by the pictures there are three sets of toes. I
guess Drew didn't want to get left out and wanted the world to see his toes too. (no, he didn't get them painted) So, those of you who grew up with me I hope you haven't fallen out of your chair and are shocked at all the girly stuff:) I think Alyssa will be as much of
a tomboy as I was but I am trying to make a girl out of her.To give you an example of our little tomgirl, yesterday the kids and I were playing out on the porch when Drew discovered a dead bug. They both sat looking at it and all the while Drew is pounding me with questions about the little stinker. In the midst of our conversation Alyssa reaches over picks up the bug and mushes it in her hand. Drew's reaction was, "oh no, Alyssa." He tried ever so hard to put the wings back on the poor thing but just couldn't seem to get them attached again. While half of it was on the floor and half in Alyssa's hand he kept yelling at it to get up, get up. I think maybe it's time for a bug box.
