Aaron was feeding Alyssa a couple weeks ago and she decided to give him one of her battles. We don't have too many of these with her, but she does like to be stubborn at times. She loves food but for some reason she just didn't want to eat. So Aaron had a few sessions with her and she's crying away in her seat. Drew, hearing all that was going on, comes in and with a fatherly tone and yelling over her crying says, "Let me tell you something, Alyssa. When I was little (as if he's an adult now) and I didn't eat my food then I got in trouble too, so you should just eat." It didn't help much but after a little while realizing Aaron wasn't giving in she finally started to eat.
Drew's shoulder is doing great and he is able to turn his head with no problem. I was doing his hair for church on Sunday and we were talking about how two of his cousins had similar injuries
in the past and how they had to wear a sling too. Drew said that he needed to pray for them and I tried to tell him that this was a while ago and that they were all better now. I finished up with him and was finishing what I needed to do in the bathroom and I heard him talking out in the hall. I peered out and there he was sitting on the steps, with his hands folded, and eyes closed praying for his cousins to get better. Today, he was doing his devotions and he prayed for Alyssa's scraped knee and when he finished he ran in the kitchen and asked to see if her knee was better since he had just prayed for it. He is our little prayer warrior, that's for sure. When we were taking him to the hospital for his shoulder, he asked me to pray for him and so I did. When I was done he was wondering why we were still going to the hospital since we prayed and Jesus was going to make it feel better.

hope you don't get sick and all others will start feeling well again soon! Caleb has had some funny prayers lately too.
