Yesterday we were doing school and I finished up what I needed to do one on one with Drew and then I had him start his coloring page. About ten minutes later he comes to me and says, "Mommy, this coloring is making me very, very, hungry." So, I look down at him and tell him that when he is done he can have a yogurt and then I happen to see brown all in his teeth. I'm thinking okay his coloring page was supposed to be brown not his teeth. So I asked him to open his mouth and sure enough there is crayon all in there. So, I went out to the school desk and the crayon he was coloring with is gone. Yes, he ate the whole crayon:) Needless to say, we had a little discussion on crayon eating. I then tell him to go on the couch and do his devotions. After a little bit and hearing a lot of laughing and silliness I go to check on him. Here he is no Bible book in hand and flipping over the side of the couch. In my motherly tone I said, "Drew, are you having your devotions because I don't see your Bible in your hand?" His reply was he was just thinking about Jesus today while sitting on the couch flipping around and imagining he was who knows what. When Drew does his devotions he usually just sits on the couch and looks at the pictures in his Bible book and talks about the pictures and stories he knows. Daddy then at night goes through and tells him a new story out of it. I get a kick every time in his devotions when he gets to the Tower of Babel. He will sit there and say this is the Tower of Babel and talk about how God confused there language. Then he'll say, "this guy said give me a hammer and this guy said abudda, budda, budda." He goes through all this jibberish talk to confuse the languages and then it's on to the next story. You gotta love him and the things he comes up with.

That is so funny. I would not have been able to keep a straight face with that. Kids are just too cute sometimes. Keep up the good work.
That's funny - we haven't had any crayons disappear although I did find a much of potato skins under the table yesterday (so we had a talk about that). I love the jibber talk too . . and the cute outfits!
Lets see. Daddy eats crayons. Mommy eats crayons. Uncle Ron eats crayons. Why wouldn't Drew chow down on a crayon or two from time to time?

I was just about to post a response about Uncle Ben eating crayons, and I see that he beat me to the punch!
