Burrrr.........

It's been cold here and we had our first snowfall yesterday. Drew and Alyssa just stared out the window forever and were ecstatic. Of course, Drew wanted to go play right away, but we haven't gone out to buy him some hat and gloves yet so he had to wait, plus he still has a congested cough. It's all gone today but we are supposed to get more tonight much to mommy's dismay. Drew prayed yesterday morning in his devotions that we would get snow and here it is. My prayer is for the Lord to move us somewhere WARM or call us to Africa:) My husband told me yesterday there was one reason to be thankful and that was that I was not living in Alaska where my friend is.(sorry Angela but you are brave)
The cookies we made yesterday are almost gone. After my sweetheart took me out on a date last night we all huddled in our room and watched Spiderman 3 and stayed warm and ate cookies. Drew loves spiderman. We purchased a TV guardian a long time ago and it is so nice. Like with this spiderman movie Drew wouldn't have been able to watch it because of the cursing and the guardian takes it out. That was just a side note. Papa Behrens got him all the action figures from the new movie for Christmas so he will enjoy them and so will daddy. Those two in there fighting games with each other. Aaron is so good with him and loves playing with the kids.
We have been talking about thankfulness with Drew lately and I have been asking him each day something he is thankful for. Today it was four things, Uncle Ben, Uncle Ron, cinnamon rolls, and Cole(a dog). Why in the world he is thankful for his uncles is beyond me and then to throw the dog in there:) The other day it was my brother's family and he wanted to go see them to show them his power. He has been listening to a Patch CD, Giant Killer, and one of the songs has the word power in it. The quisitive boy that he is asks what power is. So, daddy tells him and so now he wants to show his power off. We'll see who he's thankful for tomorrow. Hopefully mommy and daddy will get put in somewhere.

Hey girl,
I have to say that I really am not that brave. I have a hard time being content and not complaining. Although, I think I am adjusting again to this cold weather(for now) The switch of seasons into winter is Really Really hard. Please please please pray the Lord leads us back south soon! I miss it.
Your kids are so adorable and you and Aaron do a great job. Keep it up.
Love ya,
Angela
