Drew's neck is doing much better and he is able to turn it without any pain. Now if we could only
keep him from climbing like a monkey, that would be great. Saturday we visited two kids from our Jr. church class who haven't come for awhile and it was exciting so see them at church then on Sunday. Drew went with daddy to see Derek and then I took Alyssa to the other house. Drew loves Derek and he was happy to see him. Since Derek and Janelle ended up coming on Sunday they wanted to come over again that afternoon. Derek and Aaron had their own chess match going while Janelle and I went and did some shopping and then came home to have a snowball fight outside. Drew enjoys so much going visiting and seeing other people. Aaron and I really enjoy taking the kids too. Seems like we get a much better reception from some people. In our Jr. church class we have been placing an emphasis on missions. The kids started writing letters to some missionaries children asking them questions about what life is like on the mission field. We have been doing it via e-mail so it won't take so long to receive and send a letter. The
kids are excited and have been coming up with some good questions to ask them. It's been board game mania in the house lately. From matching games with Drew, to Chinese Checkers, and Scrabble. Aaron beat me in the strategy game of Chinese Checkers and I am up 2-1 in Scrabble. For Christmas we bought Drew a Noah's ark matching game and he does quite well with it. Every time he gets a match he says, "wes" (yes) and asks us if we wanted that match. He has a hard time with his "y" sounds. Growing up we never really played much of board games. It has been fun and it passes these winter nights quickly.
