When children are little, Valentine's Day is usually a big event in a family.
Then, as they get older and everyone gets busier, it seems to lose some of its importance.
But when you have a daughter who grows up to be a woman like you, Valentine's Day is still just as important as it ever was.
That's because it gives mean opportunity to tell you just how much you mean to me.
It gives me a chance to thank you for all the thoughtful things you do and for all the times you go out of your way to show you care.
It gives me the chance to let you know just how very much I love you!

Love, Dad

When Aaron came home today we had our dinner and were discussing a decision that the Lord has brought to us recently and trying to know what the Lord wanted. I was a little down after wetalked. My MIL had told me earlier that their was mail at her house from my Dad. I figured it was the Reader's Digest issue and thought nothing of it. Aaron went for a run and then stopped over to get the mail and came home with this card from my Dad.

It was a blessing and it couldn't have come at a better time. I love my Dad so much. I wouldn't ever trade being raised in a preacher's home and I am so glad for the stand that he has taken. I love when he gets down on his hands and knees, at his age, and plays and wrestles around with the kids. Takes Drew out on the tractor and lets him help with the lawn. Loves little Alyssa to death and tickles her until she's out of breath. Gets excited to see his grandkids get saved and know that he will be in heaven with them one day. He listens and gives good, godly advice when we call him. I love you Dad and think you are the greatest!
