This and That pictures!

Yesterday we had such a beautiful day of 60 degrees. We still had snow on the ground but it was melting quickly. Grandma took Drew with her shopping so Alyssa and I took a walk, played outside, and then made a snowman. It is back down to 30 degrees now and we are bracing ourselves for an ice storm tonight. We have had a very good winter health wise and we are thankful for that. Alyssa is talking more and more everyday and is getting interested in the potty. Drew is doing well and he read a whole book to me today. I did some writing with him today which is a first in a while. He kept saying, "I will never get these A's down mommy." I kept telling him practice, practice, practice just like on the Patch the Pirate song. He does not like chicken and he asked me yesterday if Jesus was going to have chicken in Heaven because he didn't want to have to eat it. He is a very picky eater and we used to have battles non-stop with him. We are glad we stuck with it and battled it out early with him. Even though he doesn't like some things now he will eat it without a fuss. Alyssa, on the other hand, eats anything. She loves when we have broccoli, brussel sprouts, corn, etc.. She is a very good eater and would eat all day if I let her.

Aaron and I do our Junior Church class on Sundays and we had a Scavenger Hunt activity on Saturday. Drew's cousins came along and the kids had so much fun. We had two teams and there were things they needed to collect or take a picture of with the digital cameras. We came back to the church had a story and songs, ate pizza, and then played some games. The kids asked to do it again another time on Sunday.

Thanks so much for your encouraging notes, and especially for your prayers! Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers, as well. :) Have a great day!

I LOVE Alyssa's coulottes! (sp???)
Do you make them? Do you have a pattern? Please let me know. I'm always on the lookout for coulottes and patterns. Alia's grown out of the ones her grandma made for her a few years ago, without a pattern. I HAVE to have a pattern. :)

Thank you for checking into that for me, Christina. I really appreciate it. Rebecca has been looking for patterns, too. That was awhile ago, and I haven't heard if she has found any.

Would you be willing to email me your phone number? I'd like to call and chat with your sometime. :)
