Well, we were enjoying some nice weather last week, but now it is quite chilly around here. I am wondering if I put away some of the winter clothes too early. The bridal shower that I am doing is coming up this Saturday. Pretty much everything is done just some last minute gifts to buy. We are so happy for my BIL and how the Lord gave him his bride-to-be. They make a cute couple!
It's been a blessing being home with the kids. Daddy teaches them a Bible story at night and
then in the a.m. I have been going through some verses in Proverbs with them. Yesterday we talked about "A soft answer turneth away wrath....." I usually then throughout the day talk with Drew about the verse and just give him a reminder of the lesson that was learned. It was even more exciting when he put the verse to action with his little sister and spoke kindly to her even when she was being rude to him. I told Aaron it has been such a joy to teach them God's Word and see it working in his heart. It seems like the past week or so we were go through a trying time with Drew and through much prayer the Lord is working on him.

He has really been working on Aaron and I about contentment with different areas. Well, I came home from church kinda grumbling on Sunday and sad because Aaron was heading back to work on Monday (I just love when he is home.) I spilled out to Aaron and really wished that we had a second car so I could
get out more often. I had to stop myself and pray and just asked the Lord to help me be content and realize that right now financially it would be unwise to have a car payment. Praise the Lord, our truck is paid off. So, I went to sleep and had the normal routine in the a.m. The phone rang and my MIL asked if I wanted to use there van that day to do some running around and she would keep the kids. Did I want to use it? There was no thinking on it and I thanked the Lord for thinking of me and giving me that blessing.

Isn't it amazing how the Lord's promises always come through and sometimes ours fade away. Keep up the great work with Drew. If we continue to do as the Lord has told us, you will always have wonderful results. We love and miss you guys lots!

Such cute pics of the kids! :o) It's neat to see the Lord working in children's lives. It always amazes me with the kids in my class at church as to how much they retain! They soak in every little thing I say to them, and it's especially exciting when they apply, as you said, the spiritual principles we desire to instill in them. It's funny about your shower, too. I have friends that are getting married in June. I am in the wedding, and have been helping them with some work on their house-to-be, etc. I should get a pic of the house to post on my blog -- it's incredible! One of the showers for my friend is tomorrow. It's the one... shall we say... for closer family and friends? ;o) We are throwing her one at church in a couple weeks. It's coming together pretty well, though. Hey, would you mind if I put a link to your blog on mine? Thanks for your comments, too. I love getting them. :) Take care, girl!
