Drew's birthday was yesterday, but we had a little party for him on Friday night. I can't believe he is 4 years old already. He was spoiled from Papa and Grandma's and all the aunts and uncles. I think his favorite gift was his army set-up from Aaron's parents. He also received binoculars, spiderman, playdough, McDonald's gift certificate, and money. He is pretty excited about all his money he has saved up in his drawer now.
We only have one more week of soccer. I think Alyssa is pretty anxious to get her turn. It has been wonderful having Aaron home. The kids are loving it and we are having a great time with each other. We bought Drew's Kindergarten books for next year at a book display last week. We are finished with school for the summer. I am still having him do some writing every now and then to improve on that before K-5. We are learning Psalms 23 this summer. So far he has gotten three verses down and now three to go. Alyssa is even enjoying learning some of it.

How fun! Looks like they enjoyed the yummy cake! Hope you all are enjoying your summer. We start VBS tomorrow! I am a bit scatter brained right now. I am in charge of it and a little nervous about it all going smoothly. We are excited though!
