Alyssa was sooooo tired and always insists that she isn't even when she goes through the day without a nap. I guess she gave in here while reading her Bible book.

We had a good week in school. Yesterday we started blends again. We also made Drew the teacher and he was quite fitting for it. He thoroughly enjoyed having mommy write letters on the whiteboard. We took Thursday and went to my in-laws to watch Cole while they were away. I was watching a little of the 9/11 special they had and Drew became very intrigued in it all and it became a good learning tool. He is always asking questions and thinking about things. He began to wonder where those who died went and if those who went to hell would be able to ask Jesus in their hearts while in hell. After explaining to him, he shuttered and said he was glad Jesus was in his heart so he wouldn't have to burn forever. He is ready for Heaven and wants to go now because it's better their and Jesus has better things for him, he says. He is always wondering when Jesus is going to take him to Heaven. Of course, I told him we don't know, and we would all miss him if he went before us. So, the only logical thing he could think of, I guess, is that we all just go together. I truly am thankful for the soft heart he has towards the Lord. He loves going to church he told us. He loves our pastor and his wife who shows their love for them and he loves to sing out in church. Lately we have been playing church at home upon Drew's request. Daddy is the song leader and Drew is pastor. His message was that we need to be like Jesus. We are always telling him that we need to try to be like Jesus and live holy and right. His reply is, nobody can be just like Jesus since he is perfect, but we can try. His sermon then was followed by telling us about frogs:0)

We are looking forward to hearing daddy preach this Sunday night. I think daddy is a little nervous but I know he will do well. He is such a good teacher and so practical and sticks to the Word of God when he preaches. I also have to say thanks, Sherri, for your post on the book, The Five Love Languages. It sounded so good to me and I was going to order it then didn't. Well, yesterday I saw it at my BIL's house and he let us borrow it. Aaron and I already started reading it together. We picked out what we thought was our love languages through the list he had before reading it. I guess we will see if we are right after we finish!

I am very thankful that I have a sister and brother-in-law you stayed consistent and didn't give in when frustrated about raising my wonderful nephew. God's word truly is wonderful and His promises truly come to fruition. Keep up the great job with both the kids, b/c I know there is great blessings and happiness ahead for both you and Aaron! Love and miss you guys lots!

Alyssa is so precious and Drew makes me smile. :)

Thanks for your comment on my blog. Praise the Lord! I hope the book is as helpful to you guys as it's been to us. :) Whenever I start to get overwhelmed Josh snaps his fingers and says, "We didn't have our date this week, did we! Let's plan on...." :)

He's easier to please (in a way). All I have to do is make his bathroom sparkle or scrub his recliner, and he's back to his normal, happy self. LOL
