Answered Prayer

Aaron's shoulder has been feeling much better and it has allowed him to be able to work out again, causing his back to heal. We have prayed for this for months and months and it's such a blessing.

We had been trying to work with Alyssa at getting her potty-trained, but it either wasn't clicking or she was simply being stubborn. A few weeks ago, I started praying about it, then stopped, thinking it was just silly. The battle still went on, trying to get her to go. A couple of days ago I started praying again in my personal devotions and with the kids during their devotion time that we could get her trained. Suddenly, it clicked and she is going all the time; I am confident it was the Lord.

Yesterday it started raining around the time Aaron leaves work. Drew was worried that Daddy was going to get all wet since he rides his scooter, plus it was pretty cold. I pulled the kids together and we prayed that the Lord would hold off the rain until Daddy got home. Not five minutes later the rain stopped, Daddy came home at the usual time, and Drew ran to him asking if he got wet. Daddy was completely dry and as soon as he was safely in, it started to rain.

I am feeling so much better and back to normal physically. The Lord is so good to us and it has been an encouragement to see that he answers big prayers, as well as the ones we think seem so little. "Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you."

We serve such a loving Father. I'm rejoicing with you! And the music just gives this post that extra something special that just brought tears to my eyes.
