C Week

We had another good week in school. For "C" week we learned our "C" verse, learned about Cain, sang Count Your Blessings, baked Cookies, Colored, Carved pumpkins with daddy, did some tracing of the letter "C", and made a Candy Corn craft. We were supposed to make cut-out cookies and have Crazy day, but never got around to it. The kids still want to make some fall cut-outs so that will probably be for this week, as well. They have been looking forward to "D" week for some time b/c we are going to Dunkin Donuts for breakfast one day. I will post some pics. of some of the things we enjoyed doing later.

Alyssa is usually our easy going child. This week though she wanted to enjoy all the fun things about school, but didn't want to sit and do work, and if she did it was scribble scrabble. It took a few sessions, but I think this week will be better;0)

Drew is still doing well. He is reading faster and has received all 100's on his tests which he is very proud of. He is very particular about his tests since he knows if he can keep an "A" average Papa Behrens will send him money. He also can never wait to put a sticker on them after I finish getting them graded. Grandma Behrens keeps bugging us to send some of them to her so she can display them on her fridge, so we have a few picked out to mail.
