Hello World!

I guess I should say, "hello" to those few who read my blog=)

It seems like it has been a whirlwind of the past few weeks and very long. My health has not been doing very well and has left me inside the house for the past month. Those that know me know that I enjoy the outdoors way too much to be cooped up inside. I feel like I am living in a "bubble". I must say, although I could deal without the pain, I would not trade this for anything. How the Lord has worked in my life is beyond words. Many sweet times of singing, praying, and crying to my Lord has been precious.

It's not over yet. I am still going through a healing process. Not even sure how long this will take. We are thankful we have seen some improvement, but not enough to venture to the outdoors yet=(

We are also in the middle of finding a church. Leaving our recent church was difficult, but following what God's word says was more important than our emotions. We have visited a number of churches in the area and our down to praying now about two. One is a small country church where they are currently looking for a pastor at Crown college. Aaron and I always have said that it seems like the Lord puts us in ministries where we can help it grow. We are excited about this possibility where we can serve with our whole family, be used, and fed spiritually.

The other church is about 45 minutes from us and is quite large. Many young couples, lots of children, and good solid preaching. We feel the need to visit a few more times here before making our decision.

In each step of this process it has been amazing how the Lord has directed both Aaron and I in the next step. The Lord has spoken to us each individually through this whole process on which churches He was leading us too. When we would both converse with each other about decisions, the Lord had laid the same thing on our hearts.

The Lord has been good to us. We know that if we continue to walk with Him, He will continue to guide us to the next step where our family can serve!
