Church

We had a great day at church yesterday. We haven't joined our church yet and are still being very cautious about everything first. Aaron was able to meet with our pastor on Saturday and get a glimpse of his vision for the church. He is definitely a pastor with a vision and heart for the lost and wants to see the church grow. He also talked of starting a school in the future. We had lunch at one of the young couples home's yesterday afternoon and enjoyed some good fellowship with them. Aaron and I are glad to be able to get to know and have those our age in the church. Of course, they have a little girl who Drew is friends with and they had fun as well. We were just discussing last night how it feels refreshing to actually be excited again about going to church. We stayed for a long time after the evening service just fellowshipping and it didn't even feel like we were gone that long. We haven't felt this refreshed in a long time and we are looking forward to being able to serve the Lord here at this time. The pastor's wife has asked my mom to come and speak for our mother/daughter banquet. I am excited about that and praying that the Lord will allow her to come.
