While at my parents house we took Alyssa's one year picture and then one of Drew and Alyssa. Tomorrow Aaron and Drew will be taking Grandma back home. We have had such a good time with her and she has enjoyed being with the kids. We had a bonfire two nights ago and all the cousins were over. Drew enjoyed wrestling with Zach and Charlie and listening to Daddy tell a story about a big cat. When I went to put him in bed that night he decided he had a story to tell about a big lion and a train. Aaron woke up with him in the middle of the night to go potty and as he was putting him back to bed Drew asked with a groggy voice if daddy could tell him a story again. Of course, at two in the morning Aaron told him to go back to sleep. I have finally decided what to do with Drew for school this year. After looking at the A Beka 3-year old curriculum and doing two books already the rest didn't seem to challenging for Drew. My sister-in-law had the teacher curriculum for 4 year olds so we have decided to go ahead and use that and order the student 4 year old material. We have already started working on blends and my goal is to have him reading and maybe a little bit of writing by the end of this year.
