1st day of school & other pics.

Drew was so excited for his first day of school. We had put him to bed early last night because he didn't take a nap and when I went in to check on him he was still awake and wanting to get up to do school. We reviewed his letters and vowels and then started diving into the wonderful blends. I can tell they aren't so cool for him to be learning but he tries hard. Writing and Bible time is his favorite and he is so particular about being neat and not messing up his letters (must have learned that from mommy!) Then it was off to his numbers until Grandma Burkhardt came to take him shopping. We have been so blessed with Drew lately. Finally, all our hard work and discipline is paying off. He is becoming much more soft hearted and joyful. We have been blessed lately by his interest in salvation and all the questions he has about it. We will never push him into salvation and will do it only when he is ready, but it's exciting to see the Lord working on his heart.
