Showers of Blessings!

I had a wonderful night on Tuesday with all the girls. It was so refreshing to get out and have some time with other ladies (and no kids). We are already talking of another night to get together next month.

The Lord took care of me yesterday, as well. The kids and I did our normal routine and then I decided to hit this second hand furniture store not far from our house. We drove out that way only to find that it didn't open until noon. I brought the kids back home and my MIL was outside with the dog and invited us to come along to the mall since it was senior citizens sale day for her. Of course, I jumped at the chance and had a wonderful time. We each tried on several things walked around with the clothing in our hand and then didn't end up buying anything. Aaron later said, "thanks for being so frugal":0) The kids enjoyed going b/c grandma took them to McDonald's for ice cream.

Tonight, Aaron has open house at school from 7-9 p.m. I was dreading him being gone all day and then most of the night. It worked out that where we previously attended church out by Aaron's work, the pastor's wife bought a wreath off of me. So, the kids and I get to go with Aaron tonight and while he is at work we are going to their house to have some fellowship.

Saturday I am also going with some ladies from our church to a conference all day. The power of prayer! I simply prayed for a night and God gave me almost all week of fellowship with different woman. He is so good!!
