We had a great activity last week. Sharon did a great job making the dough for our calzones and the girls enjoyed making the cut-out cookies. They came up with some unique colors for frosting. It's been so exciting working with these young people. We have enjoyed it soooo much. Since we started last year we have grown from 3 to 12 kids now. They are full of energy and eager to learn. This week we our raking leaves for some folks in the church on Thursday and Friday and then having our Christmas play rehearsal on Saturday.
Aaron and I do the music in our church. Aaron plays his trumpet and is doing so well on it. It was hard for him to get back into it but he practices consistently and it has shown. Drew loves to try and practice right along side him.
School is going well and we are moving right along and the kids are getting quite anxious to go to Papa Behrens house for Christmas. It seems a little distance away yet, but you gotta know Papa. He asks for Christmas lists in September and has the kids all pumped up when he talks to them on the phone. Thankfully, we haven't had anymore "sneak peeks" at the presents again.

It looks like you all thoroughly enjoyed it. Your kids look so grown up next to all the other kids. :)
