I guess you just never know when you are going to get that "unexpected" phone call. My sweet MIL received one last night that her sister had passed away with a heart attack early Saturday morning. My heart has been aching for her and we have been praying for her and the other siblings. She died at about 1:00 or 2:00a.m. and they didn't end up finding out until the evening, which they really don't understand as to why it took so long. If you think of them, please pray for my MIL and her sisters and brothers. There will be no wake, but they are hoping to get together for a memorial to remember her.
Aaron went over last night with his brothers to be with her and just try to help and while he was gone I was thinking how we just never know when our time or any of our loved one's time is up. It just brought to mind again to really appreciate and be thankful for the time that we have with our family. I love the family that God has given me, my parents, my in-laws, BIL's, and SIL's, but I know I could show them more. God's been so good to me and given me much more than I could ask.
Maybe this could be a reminder to stop and think, look around, and be thankful and let your love flow for those in your life.
