"Jesus will help me"

This is Drew's famous saying these days for anything he asks us that is impossible. Yesterday he wanted to hold the airplane that was flying in the air and I told him no he couldn't and he replied with, "Jesus will help me." Whether it's stopping trains on the tracks or trying to fly in the air it's always, "Jesus will help me do it." Thanks to Uncle Ben, I think he watches too many Spiderman and Superman cartoons.
We are excited Drew has crossed the hurdle of staying dry during the day. We haven't become so bold to try it during the night yet, but we are making progress. Yesterday he was helping Grandma Burkhardt in the garden and I came out to see if he was still dry. I asked him and he replied with yes, not realizing I saw the soaked ground behind him. After taking him in and having a session with Daddy he was quite eager to go on the potty.
Tomorrow is Alyssa's big appointment with her surgeon. We are eager to see what he thinks and are praying for the best. She is saying so many words now. I could do without a vacuum in the house because she is a little scrapper and eats any dirt on the floor. I am constantly sweeping to keep the floors clean so she can't go combing them for food. She is a tough little girl and I think she is going to be a tomboy like mommy was. She has to be with Daddy and Drew wrestling around all the time. She is quick to hop right in and join them.
