Rambling

So, my days have been a little better. Alyssa is still teething and she had a fever all weekend. It started Saturday night and boy was it a long night. Aaron ended up staying home with the kids Sunday a.m. for church and I stayed with them at night. She is still not eating very well but at least her fever is gone and she is not cranky anymore. Drew was excited yesterday to go with Uncle Ben and Aunt Terri to Aunt Rhonda's house to play with his cousins. It's a weekly event for them and they take Drew along if he's a good boy for mommy. Of course, that was the only topic of conversation that was on his mind. Somehow, today he had in his little head he was going over, as well, and I hated to break it down to him that it just wasn't happening.
We got our pool up and running. Aaron and I enjoyed our time without Drew yesterday and went for a swim while Alyssa was sleeping. We still have some landscaping left to do in our backyard. The grass is all dug out but we still need to go buy some stone. Drew is taking full advantage of the dirt while it's there with his truck and shovels. I think he gets a shower almost every night from being so dirty and muddy. Oh well, at least he is all boy and loves to play in the dirt. Aaron has only 7 school days left and he is off for the summer. It will be so nice to have him home. Drew hates it when he goes to work. He always looks forward to Daddy's phone call at lunch time.

My boys love the dirt too! I love seeing them have so much fun. The pool sounds fun. It is great Drew loves being with his cousins. Our kids act like they never see their cousins here when actually they see them all the time.
