Well, we all get to go with daddy tonight to the mall. Aaron has to be there againg tonight for 3 hours. Seems like I haven't been to the mall in quite a while. It will be nice to go as a family and have dinner after. Today Drew and I made some plaster molds for some folks in the church. He has been bugging me since Thanksgiving to make them and so first thing after breakfast we got some done.
We received another blessing yesterday. For some time now we have had a knocking sound in our truck. We took it to our transmission guy and he ran some tests and said the engine is a time bomb. Okay, so we have had it for 5 years and just paid it off this summer and now it's a time bomb? Well, we went back and forth to get rid of it, keep it, etc.. We prayed about it and since we were going to be honest right up front with the dealer if we traded it in, and wouldn't get much out of it, plus we didn't want to have a car payment now, we decided to just keep it until it died. We also called the place where we bought it and they said to gain anything from our warranty all our paperwork had to be in immaculant order. After being so disgusted about it and talking to a few people we were given an idea to just go straight to headquarters and tell them our problem. The body of the truck looks great still and we love it especially with the kids. So, Aaron wrote the company and they told us all the same information about the paperwork and told us to take it to the Suzuki dealer near us. We organized all our paperwork by date from the time we bought it and then took it in. Well, the dealer tried to tell us we had only the 36,000 mile warranty, but after Aaron told them that the corporation already acknowledged we had the 100,000 mile they quickly changed there tune. The guy then called back and said all our paperwork looked to be in order and they would test the vehicle. Come to find out it was not the engine but the pulley system was too tight and it's fixed. They told us they would write a detailed description of what was tested in case they are wrong then it would fall back on them later. Praise the Lord for this blessing. We have been praying so long for this and we are thankful the Lord gave us wisdom on what to do.
