It is so peaceful and quiet here right now I am just soaking it all in. Aaron came home real quick at 2 p.m., we ate supper, and he and Drew left for the mall until 9 p.m. Aaron is teaching a government class and the kids have to do so many hours of community service for it. So, they are helping out with some gift giving at the mall. Our truck is in the shop so Aaron borrowed Uncle Ben's car for the day. It looks I won't be going anywhere tonight and Alyssa and I will be having girl time. I need to go workout but I am splurging right now and eating a glass of tapioca pudding with blueberries. I figured it can't be that bad if I add the blueberries, right?Drew wrote his name for the first time today in school. He was pretty pumped about it and we had to show daddy when he got home. He did well seeing I haven't really been concentrating on
writing too much. He was quite excited to go with daddy tonight and took his leap frog computer to keep him occupied. He told us the other day that when he grows up he wants to be a shepherd like David.

It seems like just in these last two weeks she is understanding more and saying so much. When she wants to be held she will look up at us with her hands held up and cute little eyes and say, "hold me." The other night in church I had nursery, but our pastor said I could stay in with the kids for the singing and to participate in the sword drill. Our church is small, remember, and so it was only my kids in the nursery. We have actually been keeping Drew in the service for Sunday night church. He has been doing well and sits and listens. Anyway, we sang, did the sword drill, and pastor got up to start preaching. I then got the kids together and to get to the nursery we have to pass by the pulpit area. So, I was holding Alyssa's hand and as we were going through the door she looks back and says, "bye pastor". Of course, she got all the awws and chuckles. Well, I guess my stair machine is calling me. I've been doing well on it and it gives me a great workout.

How cute of Alyssa! I have noticed how much more grown up she seems in the pictures. I bet it is nice for her to be talking more now. Anyway, sounds like you had a nice evening. Take care.
