Our painter

I found these wooden paint projects at Michael's craft store and Drew has loved painting them. I have been using them for his art time during school. The two in his hand he made for his Papa and Great Grandma. We also found some 3-D insect puzzles. Whatever animal I can find in the store is usually the one we talk about for school in science class. When he first started the projects he told us he was going to be a painter when he grows. Of course, with Drew that does change. We have went from him wanting to be a shepherd, a snowboarder, to whatever Jesus wants him to be, to a painter now.

Drew is getting so big now and is still a very inquisitive little guy. The questions never stop coming. He knows how to write all his letters now, we are past three letter words, and he has been learning to spell. Since all this, he leaves little notes around for Aaron and me which is so special.

Alyssa is.....well.......lets just say we shake our heads at times. I don't think Aaron can believe he has two girls in the house who can be laughing one minute and crying the next. I don't think I am that bad, but Alyssa is just a weepy one. Just yesterday she was sitting on my lap laughing hysterically and then a minute later she burst out in tears. I mean they were the biggest crocodile tears ever. She was sad for whatever reason. Alyssa knows Jesus isn't in her heart. She doesn't understand anything at all about salvation yet, but she told me yesterday her heart was chocolate! Hmm.....that's a woman for ya.....chocolate on the mind and heart!!! She keeps us laughing around here.
