Is it ok to say, I'm glad to be home, but not glad? I ready but not ready to come home yet. We had such a wonderful time at my parent's house and were able to get some work done for them while we were there. It was VERY hot and muggy!!!
We are all sick here with bronchitis, as well. Alyssa is pretty much out of the woods, Aaron is still fighting it, and mommy and Drew have it the worst. Poor Grandma Behrens even got it Sunday night.
The kids enjoyed Papa being home for a few days and were spoiled. Papa and Grandma surprised us and told us they were coming up here for Christmas for a few days. We knew we wouldn't make it this year because of the baby being born and Drew was pretty upset about it.
We also had a wonderful time at my brother's church in Jersey, Solid Rock Baptist. We were so refreshed. Our church is just a little country church and our music program is well, let's just say not there. It's amazing when you are used to something all your life and then you don't have it and here it again how thankful you can be for it. Aaron and I were blessed with all the special music and congregational. The preaching was powerful, as well. Bro. Gibbs preached an awesome message on going the second mile in your relationships, your home, your job, and with your enemies.
Aaron and I talked about a lot of things on the way home and we are looking forward and praying to see what the Lord is going to do with us further. We know what we would like, but waiting to see if it's what God wants is the hardest. We are thankful we can continue to be faithful and serve Him while we continue to seek His guidance.
School will be starting next week for us or the following. Still have some organizing and arranging to get done. I will post some pictures soon once I get them uploaded.
